FRIDAY DEC 21st - IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT AND I FEEL FINE


According to the Mayan calendar anyway.
It's come to my attention that with some people this Mayan prophecy/prediction is being taken seriously. For anyone worried, don't be. I'll see you back here on Saturday 22nd December.

    My aunt and uncle got six heifers for one hundred dollars from a small-time dairyman down the road who really believed it was all going to end. He went out to dinner with the hundred bucks.

    I hope he enjoyed the dinner. His indigestion must have chronic the following day. His dilemma must have been chronic also. Are you glad the world didn't end or pissed because you've made a spectacularly bad business deal? He probably wasn't alone. Every year seems to bring some doomsday cult to the fore. The Mayans never predicted the apocalypse of course. Their calendar simply ran out and a new era or calendar was to be ushered in.
